Logic X, Clipping Audio, with limiter active!

by strukt on Mon Jan 19, 2015 11:30 pm

Hello

Just wondering if someone could shed some light on what I am doing wrong..

I am just finishing up a track in logic x. I have a limiter on the Output bus (last in the chain). All levels and output meters are set to -0.2 in volume. But when I export the audio to wav and check it out in audacity it will show some clipping. How is this possible? The limiter on the Output 1-2 bus should prevent the track from clipping, shouldn't it?

What am I doing wrong? Shouldn't that limiter be the last device in the chain and thus .. limit the sound...? I have done this countless times but now I have b0rked something. :D

Please help, if you can :)
