[quote="John"]Interesting video. Copyright and protecting intellectual goods are probably one of the most difficult topics in law.
There is one part of the argumentation that is weak. When I teach someone how to cook something, it will not really harm the guy giving cooking lessons. However if I start giving away the exact same cooking lesson to everyone for free, the cooking lesson guy will become jobless. He will probably not come up with another lesson, if he knows that someone else will be sharing it with the rest of the world for free after it. You could say he should be more innovative in trying to find a better business model though... mmm stuff for thought haha
yeah i know that is weak but if u see how this is really expanding to all things what we here do - that means for example - we cant upload midi's because we havnt the copyrights of the tracks - so we need to ask the labels if we could.
and then goes along - u have no permittion to do a remix of a track if u dont ask the copyright holder. or using vocal chops in ur tracks is also a very difficult to solve thhing - arksun is saying no to that because u sign a agreement when u release ur track to labels.
this will get really harder in the next time for sure if this dnam law is getting real and working.
yeah btw things like law are always hard to understand so they need really something like an explaination like the thing with the cocking lesson. thats why its a bit not working in the context what the law is telling about it.
